Savannah River Preserve

Savannah River Preserve opened in March 2008.

The preserve consists of over 1200 acres of

planted pines, hardwood, swamp and field food

plots.  There is an abundance of wild game on the

property which includes deer, hog, turkey, and

quail.

When we purchased the land in the summer of

2006 we knew we had purchased our dream

land for our dream project. We always wanted

to have a large enough piece of land that we

could turn into a hunting preserve so when we

purchased this track of land we began making this

dream become a reality.

We want our preserve to be a family oriented preserve where everyone can experience the thrill of nature in the way we like to experience it.  We will be offering a variety of different activities which will include the following:

1.12 station 100 shot Sporting Clay Range.

2.5 Stand for Sporting Clays

3.2 Wobble Traps for Sporting Clays

4.10 station Outdoor 3- D Archery Range

5.Indoor Archery Range

6.Quail Hunting

7.Pheasant Hunting

8.Hog Hunting

9.Turkey Hunting

10.       Deer Hunting

We have a lodge where we live and will be entertaining our guests as well as 4 cabins which will be available for rent. We will be focusing on meeting our guests and making sure they feel at home and have an enjoyable and memorable visit at the Savannah River Preserve.

Our quest enjoyed a good year hunting quail and pheasant at SRP. We will be working throughout the year to make next year an even better year. Start making plans now to join us next year during our quail and pheasant season beginning October 1st through March 31st.
